What is a PAC?
The Parent Advisory Council is the officially recognized collective voice of parents and guardians within a school community. Every school has only one PAC that includes all parents and guardians as members

BritPAC
Guess what? If you’re the parent or guardian of a Brit student, you’re already a member!
Join a meeting whenever you like. Our scheduled meetings are at 6:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month, but we do occasionally have to move one.
Check here for the next date and time, as well as for agenda and minutes of past meetings.
What does the PAC do?
- Organize events such as the Teacher Appreciation Lunch and Welcome tables at family conferences
- Manage a “Gaming Grant” from the Government of BC that supports extracurricular and community-building activities:
- field trips
- clubs
- teams
- competitions
- Welcome events
- Grad events
- guest speakers
- special projects led by teachers or students
- *It is important for us to have a Treasurer on the PAC if we are going to continue this work.*
- Fundraise for other activities and equipment that support the Brit community.
- Send a representative to DPAC – the District Parents’ Advisory Council, which represents the collective voice of parents and caregivers in Vancouver’s public schools.
